WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from STARK in the NW Atlantic from 1991-08-14 to 1991-08-27 (NODC Accession 9100182)

The data in this accession were collected in NW Atlantic (limit-40 W) from ship STARK between August 14, 1991 to August 27, 1991. The real time data of water temperature at varying depth bathythermograph (XBT) was recorded in stripcharts by the US Navy. Twenty eight stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC. The XBT data from these stripcharts have been digitized and are present in the current NODC data storage system in C116 file format.

本入库数据集采集于西北大西洋（以西经40°为界）海域，采集时间为1991年8月14日至1991年8月27日，搭载平台为STARK号舰船。美国海军通过带状记录纸记录了投弃式温深仪（Expendable Bathythermograph，XBT）采集的不同深度海水温度实时数据。共计28份带状记录纸与无线电日志被提交至国家海洋数据中心（National Oceanographic Data Center，NODC）。从上述带状记录纸中提取的XBT数据已完成数字化处理，目前以C116文件格式存储于NODC当前的数据存储系统中。
