The City of Calgary is broken down into 8 Districts. These districts are a geographical representation which help centralize police offices within the communities to ensure quick response to community needs. Each District has a district office. These districts can be used to calculate information submitted by investigators on criminal activity. The crime statistics can be used to develop crime prevention strategies.
