OCDS data for Czech Republic: OpenTender

The [OpenTender](https://opentender.eu/start) platform – run by the [Government Transparency Institute](https://www.govtransparency.eu/) – collects, transforms and publishes contracting data from 35 jurisdictions: 27 European Union (EU) member states, EU Institutions, Georgia, Iceland, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland, and the UK. The data come from [Tenders Electronic Daily](https://ted.europa.eu/TED/misc/aboutTed.do) (TED) and from national procurement portals.

The data from TED covers contracts whose monetary values exceed the [thresholds](https://ec.europa.eu/growth/single-market/public-procurement/rules-implementation/thresholds_en) set by EU directives. The thresholds are adjusted for inflation every 2 years. This data is supplemented by data from the [national procurement portal](https://vvz.nipez.cz) (*Věstník veřejných zakázek*), to cover contracts whose monetary values are below those thresholds.
