Methylomonas sp. YC3 Genome sequencing

Methylomonas sp. YC3 was isolated from a banknote printing wastewater treatment system. In this study, we report the complete genome sequence of this methane-oxidizing bacterium (MOB). The genome establishes a genomic foundation for elucidating the metabolic potential for methane utilization in methanotrophs.
