PARTICULATE ORGANIC CARBON, cloud amount/frequency and other data from GAVESHANI and SAGAR KANYA in the Indian Ocean from 1976-01-01 to 1988-12-06 (NODC Accession 9300181)

The Marine Nutrient Data in this accession was collected in Indian Ocean as part of Global Ocean Data Archeaology and Rescue (GODAR) project from ships GAVESHANI and SAGAR KANYA. The data was collected between January 1, 1976 and December 6, 1988. Oceanographic Station Data contain physical and chemical oceanographic data recorded at discrete depth levels. The bottle data was submitted on a diskette to NODC by Dr. R.M.S. Bhargava, National Institute of Oceanography, Goa, India. Data parameters include: latitude, longitude, sample depth in meters, oxygen in ml/liter, and phosphate, silicate, nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, and alkalinity measurements in ug/l. These data, except for the ammonia and alkalinity measurements, have also been processed by NODC as file type C100.
