Morphometric and spectrophotometric measurements of newts in ponds in Natura 2000 Evo site (Finland)

The dataset contains the morphometric and spectrophotometric measurements of four body parts (back, belly, tail behind the cloaca, tail lateral band) for 209 male and female smooth newts Lissotriton vulgaris in the Natura 2000 Evo site in Southern Finland. It also contains the chemical water characteristics and a proxy of aquatic invertebrate abundance assessed by passive traps for the 16 sites from where the newts were captured.本数据集涵盖芬兰南部Natura 2000埃沃保护地内209只雌雄普通滑螈（Lissotriton vulgaris）的4个身体部位（背部、腹部、泄殖腔后方尾部、尾部侧带）的形态测量与分光光度测量数据。 同时，本数据集还包含捕获该滑螈的16个采样点位的化学水质特征，以及通过被动陷阱法评估得到的水生无脊椎动物丰度替代指标。
