Cycling network

“Cycling network planning from open data” was one of the projects of the Mobility Hack 2021 of the city of Konstanz. The event took place as part of the Interreg Alpine Space project “DEAS – Data Economy Alps Strategy” and was funded by the European Union.
The challenge of the project was to merge and analyse available open data for better analysis of cycling.The dataset was generated from open data from different sources (open data Constance, mobidata and Open Street Map).
On this portal you will find various shape files in a ZIP file, which can be read into common GIS programs, as well as in a PDF explanation of the data record. The presentation of the results of the team “Radnet Planning from Open Data” as well as more information can be found on the Mobility Hack 2021 website.
Note: When using this data, please note that these are not official cycling network data of the city of Konstanz.
These are the results of a pilot project for the visualisation and analysis of cycling data.
