IAM_COMPACT_Study_9_Steel_industry

This dataset contains the underling raw data of IAM COMPACT "Study 9 – Decarbonising EU Steel: Impact of Trade and Industrial Policy". Study 9 was part of the second Policy Response Mechanism cycle (PRM2) and includes an update and continuation of the work conducted in Study 4. Based on the stakeholder feedback and the capabilities of the models involved, the overarching research question of Study 9 was “How do policies shape the pathways towards a decarbonised European steel industry and its impacts on energy demand and CO2 emissions, considering spatial relocation, globally and within the EU?”本数据集涵盖IAM COMPACT「第9项研究——《欧盟钢铁脱碳：贸易与产业政策的影响》」的基础原始数据。第9项研究隶属于第2轮政策响应机制（Policy Response Mechanism，PRM2）周期，并对第4项研究的相关工作进行了更新与延续。基于利益相关方反馈及所涉模型的性能，第9项研究的核心研究问题为：在考量全球与欧盟内部空间转移的前提下，各类政策将如何塑造脱碳化欧洲钢铁产业的发展路径，以及该路径对能源需求与二氧化碳（CO₂）排放产生的影响？
