Main Endeavour Field Chemical Miniaturized Analyzer Deployed 2011-09-29

The CHEMINI Iron on Tempo-mini was deployed on 2011-09-29 at Main Endeavour Field. Main Endeavour Field is a vent field located at Endeavour Ridge, where hydrothermal vent systems are observed. This device is a Chemical Miniaturized Analyzer. The In-Situ CHEmical MINIaturized (CHEMINI) sensor is a mono-parameter in situ chemical analyzer based on flow injection analysis and colorimetric detection to perform the analysis of dissolved iron and total sulphide in the seawater. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
