The dataset provides experimental data on water absorption and tensile properties of bio-based poly(butylene succinate) (PBS) composites containing nanofibrillated cellulose (NFC) of 5, 10, 20, 30, and 50 wt.% (5NFC, 10NFC, 20NFC, 30NFC, 50NFC, respectively). PBS/NFC composite films (thickness 0.2 mm) were produced by solution casting. The effect of humid environment (RH = 98%, T = 22 °C; denoted as RH98) and hot distilled water (T = 50 °C; denoted as W50) on tensile properties was studied. Data can be useful for modelling water absorption of biopolymer/NFC based composites and assessment of the NFC reinforcement efficiency under the environmental impact.
本数据集包含添加质量分数分别为5%、10%、20%、30%与50%纳米纤丝纤维素(nanofibrillated cellulose, NFC)的生物基聚丁二酸丁二醇酯(poly(butylene succinate), PBS)复合材料的吸水性与拉伸性能实验数据,各组试样分别记为5NFC、10NFC、20NFC、30NFC与50NFC。采用溶液流延法制备了厚度为0.2 mm的PBS/NFC复合薄膜,探究了湿热环境(相对湿度RH=98%,温度T=22℃,记为RH98)与热蒸馏水(温度T=50℃,记为W50)对该复合材料拉伸性能的影响。本数据集可用于生物聚合物/NFC基复合材料的吸水行为建模,以及环境影响下NFC增强效率的评估。
