This map provides an insight into the amount of edible oil and fats in kton/year that is released as waste stream from companies in the province of Zuid-Holland at municipal level.
The food oil and fats category include, for example, finished frying fat, fatty acid waste and well fat.
When companies produce residual flows, these companies are obliged to maintain the quality and the
quantity to be reported to the National Waste Reporting Point (LMA). ‘Food oil and fats’ means a residual steam of the food and tobacco industry, also known as a VGI residual stream.
