Data for Cenozoic and Cretaceous sediment 2D gravity modeling for the Mississippi Embayment

Text files of the depth (in km) to the top of Cretaceous and Paleozoic sediments (*cret*.pks and *palz*.pks, respectively) for five profiles in the Mississippi embayment. These files are used to model 2D gravity along four crustal magnetotelluric profiles (LD, M1, UF, and OW or deepmt) of Sarker and Cramer (2025a) and one mantle seismic velocity profile (C-C') of Geng et al. (2020). Data processing to generate these files is described in Cramer (2025).本数据集包含密西西比湾坳（Mississippi embayment）内5条剖面的白垩系与古生界沉积物顶面埋深（单位：千米）文本文件，对应文件分别为*cret*.pks与*palz*.pks。上述文件被用于模拟Sarker与Cramer（2025a）提出的4条地壳大地电磁（magnetotelluric）剖面（LD、M1、UF、OW或deepmt）的二维重力场，以及Geng等（2020）的1条地幔地震速度剖面（C-C'）。生成此类文件的数据处理流程详见Cramer（2025）。
