Quantitative data collected to explore the inhibiting factors directly influencing consumers’ intentions to discontinue using mobile payments.
The data collected in March 2017 through web-based questionnaire from current mobile payment users in the United Kingdom who are 18 years old or over.
A convenience sampling technique with further utilisation of a snowball sampling was used in this study.
A total of 295 surveys were obtained; however, only 254 of these met the selection criteria.
The usable response rate of the survey was 86.1%.
The sample consisted of almost an equal proportion of males and females, 50.4% and 48.8% respectively.
