WMS Intervention and Compensation Surface Information System (EKIS)

Representation service Intervention and compensation area information system, EKIS for short. On the basis of Section 17(6) of the Federal Nature Conservation Act (BNatSchG) in conjunction with § 3 Nature Conservation Competence Ordinance (NatSchZustV), the Land Office for the Environment manages the intervention and compensation area information system (EKIS) of the Land of Brandenburg. The EKIS includes material and geoinformation on authorised interventions in nature and landscape (through projects) and on compensation measures established in the framework of the project authorisation with the aim of compensating or replacing unavoidable impairments to the protected property of nature and landscape in accordance with § 15 BNatSchG. There is no claim for completeness of the information and correctness, due to the sometimes different data origins.
