Beauties of the whole

The information components processed by S.I.B.A. (Environmental Heritage Information System), have as reference laws 1497/39 and 431/85; these laws were first merged by Legislative Decree No 490 of 29 October 1999 into the ‘Consolidated Text of Legislative Provisions on Cultural and Environmental Heritage, pursuant to Article 1 of Law No 352 of 8 October’, in particular for TITLE II (Package and Environmental Goods) and subsequently by the Legislative Decree containing the ‘Code of Cultural Heritage and Landscape’ pursuant to Article 10 of Law No 137 of 6 July 2002. The S.I.B.A., in its environmental constraints subsystem, takes into account the following information components: ·L. 1497/39 Overall beauty·L. 1497/39 Beauty individue·L.431/85 Art.1 let.b Territories on lakes·L.431/85 Art. 1 let.c rivers, streams and streams of water and its shores·L.431/85 Art. 1 let.d Alpine and Apennines territories·L.431/85 Art. 1 let.e glaciers and glacial circuses·L.431/85 art.1 let.f national and regional parks and reserves·L.431/85 Article 1 let.g woods and forests·L.431/85 art.1 let.h civic uses·L.431/85 art.1 let.i wetlands·L.431/85 art.1 let.m areas of archaeological interest·L.431/85 art.1-ter areas of first support. These information components have been acquired both the cartographic-geometric part and the alphanumeric part for the whole territory of Lombardy. For some (overall and undivided beauty) there is also an iconic-textual component. The vector data acquisition scale is 1:10,000 in the Guass-Boaga coordinate system. The data collected by the S.I.B.A. are aimed at a circumstantial (and non-probative) use with regard to the system of environmental constraints.
