Materials Data on Nd3Au by Materials Project

Nd3Au crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Nd is bonded in a distorted see-saw-like geometry to four equivalent Au atoms. There are two shorter (3.29 Å) and two longer (3.53 Å) Nd–Au bond lengths. Au is bonded to twelve equivalent Nd atoms to form a mixture of face and corner-sharing AuNd12 cuboctahedra.

Nd₃Au结晶于六方晶系P6₃/mmc空间群。其晶体结构为三维空间架构。钕（Nd）原子以畸变跷跷板型配位几何与4个等价的金（Au）原子成键，Nd–Au键共包含4条，其中2条的键长为3.29 Å（较短键长），剩余2条的键长为3.53 Å（较长键长）。金（Au）原子与12个等价的钕（Nd）原子配位，形成兼具面共享与角共享特征的AuNd₁₂立方八面体配位多面体。
