Balance of payments, capital account, quarterly data

The Balance of Payments is the statistical statement that systematically summarises transactions between residents and non-residents. It consists of the goods and services account, the primary income account, the secondary income account, the capital account and the financial account (BPM6 – 2.12) The capital account in the international accounts shows a) capital transfers receivable and payable between residents and nonresidents and b) the acquisition and disposal of nonproduced, nonfinancial assets between residents and nonresidents (BPM6- 13.1). The capital transfers are transfers in which the ownership of an asset (other than cash or inventories) changes from one party to another. The sum of the balances on the current and capital accounts represents the net lending (surplus) or net borrowing (deficit) by the economy with the rest of the world (BPM6 – 2.18).国际收支（Balance of Payments）是系统汇总居民与非居民之间各类交易的统计报表。其涵盖货物和服务账户、初次收入账户、二次收入账户、资本账户与金融账户（BPM6第2.12条）。国际账户项下的资本账户包含两项内容：a）居民与非居民之间应收和应付的资本转移；b）居民与非居民之间非生产非金融资产的取得与处置（BPM6第13.1条）。资本转移是指某项资产（现金及存货除外）的所有权从一方转移至另一方的交易行为。经常账户与资本账户的余额之和，代表了该经济体与世界其他地区之间的净贷出（顺差）或净借入（逆差）（BPM6第2.18条）。
