Chronic disease distribution of COVID-19 patients in China 2020

According to a medical analysis based on 44,672 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 in China published in February 2020, a quarter of the patients had a chronical medical illness history. Approximately 12.8 percent of the surveyed patients suffered from hypertension. Another medical research found out that patients with pre-existing health conditions had a much higher crude fatality rate than those without.

根据2020年2月发表的一项基于中国44,672例新冠病毒COVID-19确诊病例的医疗分析，约四分之一的病患拥有慢性病史。大约12.8%的受访患者患有高血压。另一项医学研究指出，患有既往健康问题的患者，其粗死亡率显著高于无既往病史的患者。
