The genome sequence of the olive Olea europaea. Olea europaea cultivar:Farga

We have produced a reference genome sequence for the olive Olea europaea and generated resequencing data for seven additional olive trees belonging to six different subspecies of Olea europaea. The particular tree used for the reference assembly is a millenial olive tree by the name of "Santander" located in the gardens of the Santander financial city of Boadilla del Monte, Spain.
