THE EFFECTIVENESS OF EARLY ANTIVIRAL THERAPY IN REDUCING COVID-19 SEVERITY

The global outbreak of COVID-19 has led to a critical need for effective therapeutic strategies. Among these, early administration of antiviral agents such as remdesivir and molnupiravir has shown potential to reduce disease severity and improve clinical outcomes. This study investigates the clinical impact of initiating antiviral therapy during the early phase of SARS-CoV-2 infection, focusing on hospitalization rates, ICU admissions, and mortality.新型冠状病毒肺炎（COVID-19）的全球大流行，使得临床对高效治疗策略的迫切需求愈发凸显。在此类治疗策略中，早期应用瑞德西韦（remdesivir）、莫诺拉韦（molnupiravir）等抗病毒药物的方案，已展现出降低疾病严重程度、改善临床结局的潜力。本研究旨在探究在严重急性呼吸综合征冠状病毒2（SARS-CoV-2）感染早期启动抗病毒治疗的临床影响，重点关注住院率、重症监护病房（ICU）收治率及病死率。
