Types of accommodation used during cycling trips in Germany in 2023

In 2023, around 56 percent of cyclists in Germany who were doing a longer trip used hotels during their vacation. Around 35 percent booked guesthouses and roughly 28 percent were camping. The survey includes cyclists who proceeded with their trip and changed where they stayed at intervals and those who cycled around the region while having one place of accommodation to return to.
