资源简介:
These data are derived sequence of Miocene to Pliocene sedimentary rocks exposed in the north-west Indian Himalaya and are used to understand the exhumation history of the mountains since around 21 Ma. Table 1. Locations of samples and estimated depositional ages based on magnetostratigraphy. Convergence rates are from Clark (2012). Table 2. Major and select trace element geochemical analysis of the samples considered in this study. Major element concentrations are in weight percent. Trace elements are shown as parts per million (ppm). Table 3. Analytical data for the zircon U-Pb dating of grains presented in this work. Table 4. Fission track analytical data (i). Track densities are (x106 tr cm-2) numbers of tracks counted (N) shown in brackets; (ii). analyses by external detector method using 0.5 for the 4/2 geometry correction factor; (iii). ages calculated using dosimeter glass CN-5; (apatite) CN5 =339±5; calibrated by multiple analyses of IUGS apatite and zircon age standards (Hurford, 1990); (iv). P2 is probability for obtaining 2 value for v degrees of freedom, where v = no. crystals - 1; (v). Central age is a modal age, weighted for different precisions of individual crystals (Galbraith, 1990). Table 5. Results of the mixing modelling performed by the DZMix software of Sundell & Saylor (2017) on the detrital samples from the Laxmi Basin.
