This is the histopathological image of OVARY tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format. The detailed information about the patient, sample, and diagnosis are as follows: Patient:Age: 76Clinical description: Left adnexa. Clinically leiomyoma connected with left ovary and left sacro-uterine ligament.
Right adnexa: Fallopian tube 5.5 cm long, diameter up to 0.8 cm, without any changes, and a separate lying ovary 2.2x1.2x1 cm, without macroscopic changes.
Left adnexa with leiomyoma: Ovary 2x1.2x1.2 cm. On cut sections of normal structure, connected with a fragment of fallopian tube or ligament of 2 cm length.
