WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from MERRILL from 1991-10-13 to 1991-10-25 (NODC Accession 9100232)

The data in this accession were collected ship MERRILL between October 13, 1991 and October 25, 1991 The real time data of water temperature at varying depth bathythermograph (XBT) was recorded in stripcharts by the US Navy. Eighteen stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC. The XBT data from these stripcharts have been digitized and are present in the current NODC data storage system in C116 file format.

本入藏数据集的数据由MERRILL号调查船于1991年10月13日至1991年10月25日期间采集。美国海军利用投弃式温深仪（XBT）采集的不同深度海水实时水温数据，被记录于带状记录纸上。共计18份带状记录纸与无线电日志已提交至美国国家海洋数据中心（NODC）。从上述带状记录纸中提取的XBT数据已完成数字化处理，目前以C116文件格式存储于NODC当前的数据存储系统中。
