MAD-SLA Project Dataset Metadata and Documentation

This repository contains metadata and study documentation related to the project "Global approach to patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) for a personalized medicine: from the laboratory to rehabilitation" (Project Code: PNRR-MAD-2022-12376818; CUP: C13C22000960006). The project was funded by the European Union - Next Generation EU - NRRP M6C2 - Investment 2.1 Enhancement and strengthening of biomedical research in the NHS. The study established a multicenter longitudinal cohort of patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), integrating clinical, neurophysiological, neuroradiological, genetic and rehabilitation data. The project involved the IRCCS Ospedale Policlinico San Martino (Genoa) and the University Hospital of Foggia. This repository provides documentation describing the structure and contents of the database. Individual patient-level data are not publicly released because the dataset includes sensitive clinical and biological information. Access to anonymized data may be considered upon reasonable request and in accordance with applicable ethical, legal and data protection requirements.
