From 1997 onwards, the licensed water rights were recorded with the public surface waters in the GIS (without the oldest extinguished WR) and have been tracked since 1998 as a separate dataset in coordination with the public surface waters of the AWEL, Abt. Wasserbau. Since January 2022 active and extinguished water rights have been made available in separate data sets. The data is stored on the SDE server of the GIS-ZH under: GISZHPUB.WASSERRIGHTS_F for the cleared water law (area data) GISZHPUB.WASSERRECHTE_L for the water right channels and pipes (line data) GISZHPUB.WASSERCHTE_L for the water right channels and pipes (line data) GISZHPUB.WASSERRECHTE_P for the withdrawal and return locations (point data) GISZHPUB.WASSERRECHTE_P for the deleted withdrawal and return locations (point data) For more information about the purpose of use, etc. click on More:
