Opn3 knock out mice show transcriptional changes in these tissues that are indicative of deregulation of mitochondrial function, extracellular matrix and growth factor signaling, fatty acid oxidation and uptake defects. Overall design: Intercapular adipose tissue, inguinal white adipose tissue and liver samples were collected from postnatal day 17, Opn3 wild-type and knock-out mice at ZT1.
