human gut metagenome Raw sequence reads
收藏资源简介:
Gut microbiota regulates metabolic and immune responses. The microbial profile of diabetic Tunisian patients has been uncharacterized. In the present study, we sequenced V3-V4 hypervariable regions of bacterial 16S r RNA gene in stool from 10 type 1 diabetic (T1D), 10 type 2 diabetic (T2D) and 13 healthy (H) Tunisian subjects. We also investigated the impact of dietary habits on gut bacterial distribution referring to the weekly dietary surveys. We identified higher levels of Fusobacteria phyla and a decrease in the proportions of TM7 phylum as well as Blautia in T1D Tunisian patients compared with healthy participants. T2D patients showed an altered gut microbiota composition marked by a depletion of Verrucomicrobia phylum and a decline in the amounts of Faecalibacterium, Akkermansia, Clostridium, Blautia, and Oscillibacter. Finally, the analysis of the dietary intake and gut bacterial composition revealed that fats and carbohydrates consumption impact gut bacterial distribution.
