It traces, retrieves, preserves and catalogs various seismic data sources including academic papers, technical reports, macroseismic data points and catalogs, and facilitates relational analysis of seismic data from different sources to promote cross-border collaboration. AHEAD integrates seismic databases from multiple European countries, such as the British Geological Survey (BGS), France's SISFRANCE, Switzerland's ECOS, and others, and supports the data portal of the European Plate Observing System (EPOS).
