流利度已成为大学英语作为外语(English as a Foreign Language, EFL)教学中衡量学业成功最显著的指标之一。能够自信、流畅且极少停顿地进行口语表达的学生,常被认定为语言能力出众;反之,语速较慢、更具思考性的语言表达则常被解读为能力不足。本文认为,这类解读将高等教育中语言、认知与学习之间的复杂关系过度简化了。 本文依托应用语言学、认知心理学、学术读写研究以及大学教学批判视角,探讨了过度强调流利度如何掩盖了学术生活核心的语言发展深层维度,包括概念推理、认知投入与学术主体性。本研究通过对现有文献的质性综合,结合基于大学EFL教学实践的反思性分析,识别出课程设计、课堂互动与评价体系中存在的、将表演性语言使用置于认知深度之上的结构性范式。 本讨论将这些范式置于塑造当代高等教育的更广泛制度压力语境中,并主张将流利度重新概念化为一种扎根于知性思考的能力,而非单纯的表演性技能。本文最后提出了若干教学导向建议,旨在让EFL教学更贴合大学的教育与伦理使命。
