The fine varieties of Yunwu Tribute Tea (Camellia Sinensis (L.) Kuntze var. niaowangensis Q.H.Chen) are distributed in Yunwu Mountain,Guiding county, Guizhou province, China. Cold stress usually occurs in winter and is one of the most important environmental factors restricting plant growth and geographical distribution. In this study, Illumina HiSeq technology was applied to analyze the cold resistance mechanism of Yunwu Tribute Tea. Based on these results, series of candidate genes related to cold stress were screened out and discussed.In this study, we provided the transcriptome sequence resource of Yunwu Tribute Tea and used these data to realize its molecular mechanism under cold stress.The results contributed to valuable clues for genetic studies and helped to screen candidate genes for cold-resistance breeding in Tea plants.
