Investigation of environmental disturbances on microbial communities in coastal environments

26 sites in France and Chile were sampled, including coastal lagoons, fjords, estuaries, harbours, coastal marine sites, and marine offshore sites to investigate the response of microbial communities to environmental disturbances. The communities were identified by 16S rRNA gene metabarcoding (V4-V5; Primers: FWD:GTGYCAGCMGCCGCGGTAA, REV:CCGYCAATTYMTTTRAGTTT) and metagenomic sequencing.
