资源简介:
"The EASTROPAC expedition was a multinational effort directed towards understanding the oceanography of the eastern tropical Pacific (ETP). Between 20°N and 20°S, from the American continents to 120°W during 1967 and 1968 a total of 36 vessels were deployed to the ETP (Figure 1). Most were from United Sates Institutions, but a few were from Latin American nations sharing interest in the fisheries supported by the area (Appendix 1). The EASTROPAC expedition was an effort to describe the seasonal variation in physical and biological oceanography, something that had never been attempted before (see references). Here we summarize each cruise of the expedition, provide figures of cruise tracks, and a complete inventory of data collected, their status availability, and contact information"--Introduction. L. Ignacio Vilchis and Lisa T. Ballance. Chiefly tables. "April 2005." System requirements: Adobe Acrobat Reader. Includes bibliographical references (page 37).
