Total Sky Imager observations during POLARSTERN cruise PS122/3 on 2020-04-22

The dataset consist of camera shots of the sky. The camera - a total sky imager manufactured by Canon (Powershot) - was mounted at the top of the Research Vessel Polarstern. At the leg 3 (from February until June 2020) of the MOSAIC experiment from Arctic Ocean - Longyearbyen this camera shots were taken with a temporal resolution between 15 minutes and 15 seconds. The dataset represents the visible projection of weather conditions and cloud cover recorded on the vessel Polarstern in the direction near the zenith. These observations are useful for the interpretation of the atmospheric radiation measurements.

本数据集收录了天空的相机实拍影像。所用相机为佳能（Canon）PowerShot系列全天空成像仪（total sky imager），安装于极星号（Polarstern）科考船顶部。在MOSAIC实验的第三航段（2020年2月至6月，航线从朗伊尔城出发横跨北冰洋）期间，该相机以15秒至15分钟的时间分辨率完成拍摄。本数据集呈现了极星号科考船在接近天顶（zenith）方向记录的、与天气状况及云量相关的可见光成像结果，该观测数据可用于辅助解读大气辐射测量结果。
