In this report of the Federal Environment Agency, calculations of noise immissions are compared with national and international methods. Eleven verifiers participated in the comparative calculation. Both road traffic noise and noise from an interior of a building were considered. In addition, immission measurements were also carried out. The EQA test shows that test routines are required for emission modelling and exact instructions for the determination of sound radiation. For environmental noise mapping changes to the calculation settings currently defined in the regulations are proposed. With regard to the measured immissions, it has been shown that the Austrian calculation methods are equivalent to the interim methods of the EU.
