CUREd+ Linked HES Admitted Patient Care (APC) episodes

This dataset contains structured records of inpatient care episodes at NHS hospitals in England. It includes information on patient demographics, clinical diagnoses (ICD-10), procedures (OPCS-4), episode timing, admission and discharge details, and provider and commissioner codes. It is based on the Hospital Episode Statistics (HES) national data specification and is submitted routinely by providers as part of national reporting requirements. Each row represents a Finished Consultant Episode (FCE), capturing the time a patient spends under the care of a single consultant. Patients with long or complex admissions may have multiple episodes across one or more hospital spells.
