The dataset shows data on the number of students divided by year of course and age group enrolled in the Joint Schools of the Municipality of Milan.

The columns within the dataset are:

* School Year: Numerical School year of reference school registry;
* CodeSchool: Text Code of the school (plexus);
* OrderSchool: Indicates the school order (degree of education) of the school. No data are collected on kindergarten
* Geographical area: Text identifying the area where the building is located
* NameSchool: Name (name) of the school (plexus) AddressSchool:School address
* YearCourse: For Primary school from 1 to 5. For lower secondary school grades 1 to 3. For upper secondary school from 1 to 6
* FasciaEta: For primary school, it has the following values: under 6 years, 6 years, 7 years, 8 years, 9 years, 10 years, over 10 years. For the upper secondary school upper secondary school assumes the following values: under 11 years old, 11 years old, 12 years old, 13 years old, over 13 years old. For upper secondary school, it has the following values: under 14 years, 15 years
