Maldegem Klei – Member of Asse

This layer shows the shallow appearance (up to 50 m below ground level) of the relevant mineral geological unit. This layer is a processing of the grid layer of the top of this geological unit, which determines G3Dv3.1 (Deckers et al., 2019) for the geological 3D model. The quality of minerals may vary within a geological unit. The shallow appearance in a given place is therefore not a guarantee that a good quality of the mineral in question is found on that site.
