In order to make it possible for researchers to carry out more detailed analyses of nominations for Parliament, a group of researchers began, in the spring of 1972, to collect information about all candidates nominated for Parliament in all general elections since 1960. #This data material comprises all general elections in the period 1960-1968. #Information about the candidates includes occupation, education, place of residence, constituency, party, and success of the candidate as well as of the party in the election
