BETA-FOR_SPZ_Deadwood_Aggregated_2014/2024

This dataset contains per patch information of deadwood. The deadwood volume was assessed by measuring in the forest experimentally created dead trees (highstumps, logs, stumps, habitat trees, crowns) and trees that had died naturally (snags). For snags and highstumps the measured diameter is the diameter in brest height, for stumps it is the diameter of the cut surface and for crowns and logs it is the mean diameter. For standing deadwood, a taper of 1 mm per decimeter was assumed. The volume of crowns, logs, cracked snags and highstumps was calculated using the formula: mean diameter²/4 x pi x length. For stumps the formula: diameter²/4 x pi x 10cm was used. The volume of snags and habitat trees was taken from the “Krenn´sche Tarife“ (Hilfstafeln für die Forsteinrichtung, zusammengestellt für den Gebrauch in der Bayerischen Staatsforstverwaltung, herausgegeben vom Bayerischen Staatsministerium für Ernährung, Landwirtschaft und Forsten 1990). Deadwood with a diameter of less than 7 cm was excluded from the recording, and the volume of snags and logs was disregarded once their diameter reached 7 cm or less. In the table “single_objects” each single deadwood object is listed with its volume. In the table “patches” the columns stump_vol, log_vol etc. show the total volume of the measured objects of each deadwood type per patch. The column cwd_vol (coarse woody debris) shows the sum of all deadwood types. The columns stump_vol_ha etc. show the value per ha. The dataset is available for all 234 patches.本数据集包含枯木（deadwood）的逐斑块统计信息。枯木蓄积量通过实测两类枯木得到：一类为实验营造的枯木，包括高伐桩、倒木、伐桩、栖息地木及枯树冠；另一类为自然死亡的枯立木（snags）。其中，枯立木与高伐桩的实测直径为胸径（原文存在笔误，原写为brest height，标准表述为breast height）；伐桩的实测直径为其伐切面直径；枯树冠与倒木的实测直径为平均直径。对于直立枯木，假设其直径削度为每分米1毫米。 枯树冠、倒木、开裂枯立木及高伐桩的蓄积量计算公式为：平均直径²/4 × π × 长度。伐桩的蓄积量计算公式为：直径²/4 × π × 10厘米。枯立木与栖息地木的蓄积量取自《克伦氏林业经营辅助计算表》（原标注为*Krenn´sche Tarife*，完整说明为：专为巴伐利亚州森林管理局编制的《林业经营辅助计算表》，由巴伐利亚州食品、农业与林业部1990年发布）。 直径小于7厘米的枯木未纳入本次记录；当枯立木与倒木的直径降至7厘米及以下时，其蓄积量不再计入统计。 在"single_objects"表中，每个单个枯木对象均附带其对应的蓄积量信息。在"patches"表中，"stump_vol"、"log_vol"等列分别展示了每个斑块内对应类型枯木的总蓄积量；"cwd_vol"（粗木质残体（coarse woody debris））列则为所有枯木类型的总蓄积量之和。"stump_vol_ha"等列展示了对应指标的每公顷数值。本数据集覆盖全部234个斑块。
