资源简介:
The dairy industry is one of the most important sectors in Mexico, and Jalisco is one of the leading states in dairy production. However, bacterial contamination can cause spoilage of dairy products, leading to financial losses for dairy farmers and manufacturers. Therefore, it is important to identify the microbial diversity of bacterial strains in the dairy industry to develop effective control strategies to prevent bacterial contamination and improve the safety and quality of dairy products. The project will collect bacterial strains from different sources in the dairy industry, such as raw milk, cheese, and yogurt. The bacterial strains will be cultured and identified using standard microbiological techniques. The strains will then undergo WGS to obtain their complete genome sequences.Bioinformatics tools will be used to analyze the WGS data, including genome assembly, annotation, and comparative genomics. The study will identify the genetic diversity, virulence factors, and antibiotic resistance of the bacterial strains. The findings of the project will provide valuable insights into the microbial ecology of the dairy industry in Jalisco, Mexico, and facilitate the development of effective strategies to control bacterial contamination and improve the safety and quality of dairy products.
