Agel leaf fiber or Corypha utan leaf fiber (CULF) is one of natural fibers grown in Indonesia. This dataset presents FTIR result of alkali-silane treatment on agel (Corypha utan) leaf fiber. For alkali treatment, 4% (w/w) of Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) was used. Three concentrations of 3-(Trimethoxysilyl)propyl were introduced (0, 5, and 10wt.%) as the silane treatment. Data on tensile and 3-point bending (bending) results are also provided in this repository. Tensile and bending test specimens were fabricated following ASTM D638-03 specimen type 1 and ASTM D790-03, respectively.

Agel叶纤维,或称Corypha utan叶纤维(CULF),为印度尼西亚种植的自然纤维之一。本数据集展示了Agel(Corypha utan)叶纤维经过碱性硅烷处理的傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)结果。碱性处理中,采用4%(质量比)的氢氧化钠(NaOH)。引入了三种不同浓度的3-(三甲氧基硅基)丙基(0、5和10质量百分比)作为硅烷处理。此外,本数据集还提供了拉伸和三点弯曲(弯曲)测试数据。拉伸和弯曲试验样品的制备分别遵循ASTM D638-03的试样类型1和ASTM D790-03。
