Role of marine citizenship in marine environmental health.

Responses given by active marine citizens to the question “In what ways do you think marine citizenship is important for marine environmental health?” Responses were coded to draw out key themes. (N = 249). NB. Within Responsibility is included sub codes of Universalism value, Caring and Ownership which were all connected with an expression of being universally responsible for marine environmental health. Example data is provided for most-referenced themes. Important was coded where responses using language stressing that marine citizenship is important/vital and similar.
