IODP Expedition 368X Subsea camera (VIT)

The Vibration Isolated Television Optic Fiber equipment provides visual observation of the seafloor during reentry of an existing borehole. An altimeter mounted to the frame provides accurate height of the VIT frame above the seafloor. An underwater color camera with pan, tilt, and zoom functionality is used for surveying the seafloor and examining mechanical devices.隔振式电视光纤设备（Vibration Isolated Television Optic Fiber，简称VIT）可在现有钻孔重入作业期间，对海底开展可视化观测。安装在该设备机架上的高度计，可精准测得VIT机架相对于海底的高度。具备水平转动、俯仰调节及变焦功能的水下彩色摄像机，用于海底勘测与机械设备检测。
