These files comprise correspondence relating to the activities of the Department of Public Health, in particular the arrangement of its institutions and the various Acts administered by the Department. The subjects dealt with include: infectious diseases; exhumations; registration of medical and dental practitioners; waste disposal; pollution. These files were originally culled by officers of the Department during the 1940s. 1927-49 (10/42982-43004) 1952-92 (17/8623-8624.1). 25 boxes (part).
