Health indicators

Health indicators by territorial administrative and health management units (provinces, hospital areas, health districts, basic health areas, municipalities, district and census section) refer to the demographic characteristics of the Andalusian population, as well as to lifestyles, environment, health situation and health services. They are created for the purpose of statistical analysis and studies. They are basic information in the exercise of the competences of the Ministry of Health in the management, planning and evaluation of health resources. The information collected at scale 1:100,000 is created and stored in GIS format, updated annually in the Ministry of Health, the body responsible for information.
