The mechanism of adenosine receptors in protecting Caenorhabditis elegans under oxidative stress

Adenosine can protect human nerves through Adenosine Receptor (AdoR)-mediated signaling pathways. However, the relevant mechanism is still unclear. Previous studies have found that a certain concentration of adenosine may increase the survival rate of Caenorhabditis elegans under oxidative stress conditions through AdoR. In this study, RNA-seq technology was used to analyze the data of three groups of Control (CK), Paraquat treatment (PQ), and Paraquat + adenosine treatment (PQ AD). Transcriptome data was to study gene difference expression under paraquat stress and the molecular mechanism on the protective effect with adenosine addition.
