Membrane palmitoylated protein 7 depletion effect on MDA-MB-231 cells

Analysis of MDA-MB-231 cells depleted for membrane palmitoylated protein 7 (MPP7). MPP7 is a member of MPP subfamily of cell polarity-related proteins that function in cell junction and adhesion. Results provide insight into the identification of MPP7 target genes. Overall design: MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells were transduced with lentivirus expressing non-target control shRNA (shCON) or lentivirus expressing shRNA sequence targeting MPP7 (shMPP7). Total RNAs of shCON and shMPP7 groups were extracted and RNA-seq was performed to determine differentially expressed genes between shCON and shMPP7 groups.
