IODP Expedition 397 Titration

Various chemical constituents (most commonly chloride) were measured by titration using either an autotitrator (chloride) or a manual titrator (other compounds). Chloride was measured by ion-selective electrode and a silver nitrate titration until all chloride is bound as silver chloride.本数据集涉及的多种化学成分（最常见为氯化物（chloride））均通过滴定法完成检测：针对氯化物采用自动滴定仪（autotitrator），针对其余化合物则使用手动滴定仪（manual titrator）。其中，氯化物的检测采用离子选择性电极（ion-selective electrode）与硝酸银滴定法（silver nitrate titration）联用，直至所有氯化物均结合为氯化银（silver chloride）。
