TAS Sensor Web - Conformal Cubic Atmospheric Model (CCAM) simulations - 1km resolution - South Esk

Ensemble of daily forecast made for Tasmania as part of the Tasmanian Hydro-Meteorological Sensor Web. Forecasts are initiated every 6 hours from the US NCEP GFS analyses and every 12 hours from the Canadian CMC analyses. Forecasts are based upon the Conformal Cubic Atmospheric Model, developed in CMAR. Forecasts are made at 60 km resolution over Southern Australia/Tasmania for 5 days, then 8 km resolution over Tasmania for 3 days and finally at 1 km resolution over the South Esk region for 3 days. A range of model options are also used to provide an ensemble of predictions. This dataset is the forecast for the 1 km resolution data covering the South Esk river catchment in North East Tasmania.

本数据集为塔斯马尼亚水文气象传感器网络（Tasmanian Hydro-Meteorological Sensor Web）项目下的塔斯马尼亚逐日预报集合。预报以美国国家环境预报中心全球预报系统（National Centers for Environmental Prediction Global Forecast System, NCEP GFS）分析场为初始场，每6小时更新一次；同时以加拿大环境与气象中心（Canadian Meteorological Centre, CMC）分析场作为初始场，每12小时更新一次。该预报基于海洋与大气研究中心（Centre for Marine and Atmospheric Research, CMAR）开发的共形立方大气模式（Conformal Cubic Atmospheric Model）。预报流程分为三级：首先以60公里的空间分辨率对澳大利亚南部及塔斯马尼亚全域开展5天预报，随后以8公里分辨率针对塔斯马尼亚全境进行3天预报，最终以1公里分辨率针对南埃斯克地区实施3天预报。同时，研究团队通过多组模式配置方案生成多成员预报集合。本数据集即为覆盖塔斯马尼亚东北部南埃斯克河流域的1公里分辨率预报数据。
